30 Things About Me

I’m actually kinda proud I finished it! Because I’ve been feeling quite the open book lately. (Also, why isn’t the “Read More” function functioning?) Read moah.

30 things about me:

1. The only intimate affair I’ve ever really had is my bed. My sister handed me down a comforter a year ago and since then I’ve been in love with it. We have spent countless nights together. LOL.
2. Sometimes I say superficial things that people take seriously.
3. If I were boiled down to elements, I would say I’m a breezy still lake.
4. I like hearing what people think about me. Not because I’m conceited, but people see me in a very different light. :))
5. I’m well-versed in make-up and skincare, but I’m not a big user of both. Although I’m specific, especially with ingredients because I had early onset acne and I have very sensitive skin. So, Nivea, we will never meet again.
6. I don’t understand why girls want to be “treated” like royalty. I like the feeling of being understood and truly supported more than being put on a pedestal.
7. Oftentimes I harbor feelings for a person but never found enough value in the future of the relationship so I walk away/never tell them/let the feelings go. It never never hurt me.
8. Wow, shit, I’m only on eight? I wanna finish this, as a test of patience, perseverance, determination. It’s small, but crap, it’s so difficult.
9. I like seeing the goodness in people
10. Even if I can work under the limelight (as per required like in pitches and reports—hihihi sometimes in front of the camera :>), I prefer to work behind the scenes (ie, writing, directing, planning, organizing, ordering, conspiring, the works)
11. I have a tendency to be self-effacing when it comes to credits
12. I take loyalty srsly. Although it is difficult to win, even harder to win back.
13. I really admire people who have Faith and believe in something.
14. I’m not a bookworm. Don’t get me wrong, I love books, and I read a lot. However, my life does not revolve around literature.
15. On the same note, reading did not come to me naturally. It’s my sister who is the true bookworm. She reads quickly and has gone through four times the amount of books I’ve ever read.
16. It might be surprising to note that my upbringing involved a lot of church activities. :)
17. I can sleep anywhere. I really really really can.
18. I go by the saying “eat to live” but growing up with brothers who can eat, I have the ability to out-eat them.
19. Recently, I’ve been losing weight and people would ask whether or not I eat. I think it’s the classic saying “Move more, eat less” that really worked for me. So, aside from a little help for my bowels (gots some problems over there hehehe), that’s about it.
20. I dream of no-fuss messy hair. Because. You know. Dreaming=/=Reality
21. If I were to have a title, I wouldn’t mind “lazy girl” but not in a nega slob kind of way, but more of I go for maximum efficiency with the least amount of work. I’m still learning how to work with it hahaha
22. Everything I have, I somehow worked for. I stopped being “spoiled” when I started acting like I’m not. :)
23. However, I know that I am very very very blessed. I never want to lose the spirit of gratitude and hate the world. It’s just really annoying when people wallow like that.
24. When I was little, I would thank for every atom that makes up my cells and the rest of the world in my prayers. Looking back, it’s really cute.
25. I like shopping in the men’s department. Is that weird? I hope not. It makes sense to me though.
26. I’m sensitive to certain kinds of metals. That’s why I rarely wear jewelry.
27. I really look high and low for people who could inspire me. I look them up and study them. It’s fun, but tiring. I wish there were more inspiring people.
28. I really want to experience living out of a suitcase.
29. I dream of finding an all-in-one solution for my skin. I really do.
30. I’m not very malambing. Especially when I try, I come off as robotic. But apparently, according to some, I do have bursts of thoughtfulness and sweetness. So ako naman, I lop it up like a hungry rabbit would on a carrot because that’s a rare compliment. Hihihi.
